Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I absolutely love this powder. Tossed out my Urban Decay De-Slick for this baby! It absorbs oil like a dream, not leaving any powder or weird powder cast on your face, but once applied it instantly makes your face look flawless! My major skin concern is that I have huge pores, this stuff just blurs them, I don't know how since it's a blotting powder, and there really isn't any coverage to it- but it does an amazing job. Comes with a nice little puffer which is always handy. I wear shade Medium/Dark and I have tan-olive skin. It has a really nice yellow undertone to it so it's the perfect match!! Definitely worth the try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best makeup setting powder I have been using this blotting powder almost exclusively since I got it. I have it in the shade light which comes off as translucent. Stroking your brush across the pan produces a lot of powder dust, which isn't a bad thing, just something to be aware of so as not to be overly aggressive when applying. This powder is silky smooth and never makes your skin look ashy or cakey. It feels light on the skin and with it's whisper soft texture, it sets your makeup and seems to disappear. I don't have to use a setting spray when I use this blotting powder which saves me an additional step in my routine. I enjoy this powder so much, it's my new HG.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Blotting Powder Compact! I was on my last NYX "twin cake" powder compact in the shade "pale" and I went to order more only to find it not available. I really like Nyx powders because of the shade selection and the the sheer powder formulas which still provide nice coverage. I ordered this blotting powder in light and love it! I apply the blotting powder with a powder brush over clean, moisturized skin. The compact has a puff included, along with a mirror, but I don't need to touch up since the powder works so well. I will buy the next blotting powder a shade darker for spring and then another shade for summer. I also like how a little goes a long way, therefore, making this an excellent value. Beautiful! *-*

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not for dark skin women This product isn't intended for dark skin women at all got the darkest shade and it was so light. It looked like i put baby powder on my face. I was excited to use it based off the reviews but was highly disappointed :'(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite powder, hands down. I've been using this powder as my morning setting powder and my daily touch-up powder, and I couldn't be more pleased. The texture is perfect for mattifying my face without adding a layer of pigment that may make my foundation cake up. It's very finely ground and can be built up easily. For instance, I build up several layers on the bridge of my nose when I wear glasses, and my makeup remains un-smudged all day! Absolutely obsessed with this powder.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 99% perfect powder product I would give this a 4.75 if one could give partial stars to a product in this system. The texture of the product is amazing (so finely milled), and goes on very smoothly. I use a brush to apply the powder instead of the puff it came with, to prevent, however slight the chances are, of the product mixing with the oils on my face (I have combination skin) and my existing makeup to create a cosmetic mud (*Note: I do this with all finishing powders). I was eager to compare this product to the "Hi End" Blotting Powder I had used before this one, and find them to be comparable in many ways. However, my only issue that I have is that NYX's definition of "Medium-Dark" for this pressed compact appears more like a light shade than a dark. I had not found this to be the case with the loose mineral setting powder from NYX, which I LIVE ON and love so much, and whose same airy texture works just as well. Therefore, I have to be much more careful when applying this pressed version, even with the brush, to avoid any chances of creating a ghostly cast to my medium/olive complexion. So, please NYX, can you make a darker shade in this product so that I can then give the pressed blotting powder a 100%? :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job well! I bought this a few weeks ago, I tend to have an oily T-zone so a matte powder is a must have!!! After I apply my foundation and concealer and use my flat top kabuki brush and apply this powder to my forehead and nose and chin area. It does the trick!!! I love how matte my face stays and even a few hours later I don't really see any shiny spots! I will def purchase again!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from one of 2 best ever powders I'm a matte pressed powder junkie. I'm 44 years old, and have tried every brand out there, both department store brands and drugstore brands. My face is combination/oily. This is the best pressed powder I have ever used since the Prescriptives pressed powder from the early/mid 1990's, which is no longer the same formula you can purchase on their website currently. This Nyx powder gets rid of the oil on my face, and gives good matte pressed powder coverage without looking cakey. I reapply throughout the day to keep it looking fresh, and it does not build up to a caked on mess. The light color works perfectly and blends just right into my light/medium to medium complexion. Very happy with this, and I hope Nyx never discontinues it or changes the formula.
