Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lippie! A while back I bought a couple of shades of this, and have found that Pops is my absolute favorite MLBB shade for me. I have pretty pigmented lips but fair, cool-toned skin, and this medium mauve shade is perfect to give me a natural but polished look. The formula is beautiful and extremely comfortable to wear. To bump it up a notch I like to finish it off with a little dab of the Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake. I'm convinced these colors are made to go together, and believe that there are probably Butter Glosses to go with each of the Butter Lipsticks. Topping it off is NYX's incredible value. At this price, I want to buy a whole lot more of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every day affair! Before these, I hardly ever wore lipstick. I just found it to be too thick and then disappear the minute after taking a drink of something! I tried one of these out on a whim, and now I own 7! (All darker shades) I love these lipsticks so much because they go on soft and lightweight, yet don't bleed and disappear an hour later! For daytime looks I apply the color and then gently blot/wipe it off for a nice natural stain of color. And for a night out I wear the color bold. I would have to say Hunk is my favorite! It was my last to purchase because at first I thought it was a color I would never wear, but on the lips it is so pretty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's A Fan Favorite For A Reason I bought 8 of these and I can definitely see why so many people love it. The formula is soft like butter (hence the name), the colors are beautiful and nicely pigmented, and it lasts quite a bit longer than I thought it would. My favorite would have to be Root Beer Float (or Pops, if you get one with the old sweet-themed name), it's a gorgeous brown with mauve undertones. The only gripe I have is that the lighter colors like Sandcastle and Summer Fruits tend to emphasize my dry patches on my lips, but otherwise, with its lovely color selection, good pigmentation, excellent price point, and nice longevity rate, this product gets a solid 5 stars from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cant beat the quality for the price I have the Big Cherry Butter Lipstick. It has great color payoff AND makes my lips smooth and not dried out. One of my favorite reds. And you really cant beat the price. I have to reapply the lipstick throughout the day about as much as any other lipstick. Since its red, it does leave a little stain on the lips once it wears off. I took a picture of the lipstick indoors with flash and without.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful colors, but not complete coverage The colors are GORGEOUS. I got this lipstick in Hot Tamale and Licorice. I have light skin with neutral undertones and both looked great. Hot Tamale is a very bright orange, very pigmented. It might be a little scary if you're not used to that bright of a color, but if you want, just pat your lips with a napkin to soften the color a bit, and then you have a much softer pastel orange. Especially with some nude or mauve lip gloss on top. The problem with these lipsticks is that if you apply a second layer, it slides the first layer, sometimes enough to expose your bare lips. It can take a few strategic swipes in the right directions before you can cover your lips completely. Other than that, no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Lipsticks I've ever used I'm completely in love with Nyx butter lipsticks. They're the easiest and best lipsticks I've ever used. I'm not really a lipstick girl because I hate the scent and taste of most. (You know when you can taste it on your straw or your fork or whatever? eww...) But this one doesn't smell bad and doesn't taste like much of anything at all. Also today I wore a darker red one and it stayed on most of the day! I was impressed. Probably 8 hours of my 9 hour shift! Impressive if you ask me. That was through 2 meals and multiple drinks, plus I lick my lips often enough. Anyway, the colors are bright and beautiful and I'm just in love!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from beautiful color,product so soft broke off I purchased the color sugar wafer and i think its the most beautiful creamy nude ever..plus its so soft on the lips..i would have given product 5 stars but due to the fact the lipstick broke off from tube,i must rate it a 2 due to product fail..because the formula is so creamy and buttery,,its probably best applied with a lip brush with minimal pressure..i seriously applied this gently and it fell apart,but since using a lip brush,its perfect..gentle is the key here
