Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't last Bought the shade "power trip". It is a gorgeous shade. Did a cut crease using it on my eyelid. Was streaky the first application so I put a second layer. Was still streaky. The third layer I got the opaqueness and color I desired. I kept my head tilted upwards until it was dry. ( about a minute.) Two hours later as I was getting ready to leave the house, I checked my makeup and the color had faded and creased! Out of curiousty I tried it with only a primer underneath (no powders) -same problem. I'm curious how others use it given the five star rating but I'm not going to change to accommodate this. It's a shame as I was planning on getting the other colors but won't be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO fallout and easy application! I needed an eyeshadow that could last the entire workday with rich pigment, a lightweight formula, and no fallout. This eyeshadow does the trick! It glides right on but doesn't dry immediately, so I can fix any mistakes if needed. I bought Checkmate (Chestnut Brown) which is closer to a burnt sienna or reddish brown shade, not the cooler brown shown in the product photos. That said, I love the color, which looks great with black mascara against my lighter skin tone. Paired with NYX's setting spray, this eyeshadow sticks for hours, yet removes easily with a makeup wipe at the end of the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So pigmented I wasn't expecting this product to be so creamy, opaque and pigmented; two outta three at best, but it hit all three high notes. The only miff I have with it is the doe foot applicator; it's an eye product and the odd shaped applicator doesn't make for smooth application. I suggest using a brush separately and instead of the applicator. This product also works well as a base for building color on top of or holding glitter in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yes! i just got this in the mail today. i bought it to use as highlighter under my brows for eyeshadow looks. i was afraid it would be sheer tho as i love a good white eyeshadow. tested on ny hand and it does come off sheer but it can be built up! dries matte and stays on!! i need them all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge fan! I didn't know what to expect from this but I am so over the top with this lid Lingerie in the matte formula!! I purchased Iconic (you had me at greige!), it blends so perfectly and creates a soft, understated, elegant look. I have brown eyes, brunette hair and a olive complexion. I'm over 50 years old so matte is a must. It lasts all day and doesn't crease even a little bit. I may or may not have a problem because now I want all the shades! Thanks NYX!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my eyes! Iconic is the perfect shade for my hazel eyes. I use it as a base color and add other colors to achieve the look I want. The formula is long wearing and not patchy. I will be trying other shades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to apply accurately and no sparkles I've been looking for a taupey lavender eyeshadow for a long time and this one fits the bill. I'm an older woman and find that eye shadows with sparkles in them aren't flattering anymore. This is advertised as matte and that's exactly what it is. It goes on smoothly and the applicator makes it very accurate to apply. Love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All-Time Favorite! I purchased this because it was matte, but I didn't expect it to be this perfect. I have hooded, oily eyelids and this eyeshadow is the holy grail for me for staying power and pigment. This lasts ALL day long and comes off easily at home with a wipe. Now for more colors. I'm a huge fan of this product.
