Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dried up quickly...barely usable now When I used this eyeliner for the first time, I thought I'd finally found my wonder product. The gel formula was so smooth, the application was easy, the color payoff was excellent, and it would not smudge or crack once dry. It was perfect. A month later, the product completely dried up on the container. Now it's hard and unusable. Since I will not throw $10 to the trash, I use a little baby oil on the brush to soften it up and use it, but the color turns streaky and liquidy, and it won't stay on without smudging. Cannot even build up the color. Overall it's a disaster. NYX should really fix the container so that the gel liner won't dry up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good for quick color change... color pay off is ok I bought this a while ago. Wanted to go for bright colored brows and thought I'd give this a try. I honestly thought it would come out brighter I even mixed in with products but nonetheless you can tell there blue. The gel liner is VERY smudgey. (Perhas not for brows. It's hard to adhere b/c it's so smudgey. Extremely light weight.) I will use this as I liner only however it's not bad for price and quick color change. Just wished it wasn't so easily to wipe off.

I wanted a good brown gel liner because my gel liner in black is just too intense for everyday looks, and I'm very particular about the browns I wear. I like dark, rich, chocolatey browns with a hint of red, kind of like brownie batter. When I saw that Scarlette was meant to be a "matte deep brown with slight red undertones", I thought all my dreams had come true! I had to have it! Much to my dismay though, when I opened the product and used it, there wasn't a red undertone to be found. It's almost a dark taupe, it's very grey-brown and muted. A beautiful color and still great product, and I absolutely plan to use it, but definitely NO red undertones. I recommend changing the description so no one else is surprised by the lack of warmth in the Scarlette liner!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow I bought this product simply to take a break from liquid liners and switch to gel liners for a change. I really love this eyeliner. It's creamy enough to glide on to the lids smoothly. It's doesn't dry quickly which makes it easy to clean up any mistakes you've made. One thing I really dislike about this gel liner that I've never experienced with any other gel liner before is that the liner tends to run throughout the day. Every time I look into a mirror, I see that the liner has run down on to my lash line. Otherwise, this is a great pigmented liner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, looks lovely but dries a little too fast. Sometimes it needs a second coat. Once again the color on the sight is a fail. I got "Scarlette," it is indeed a matte deep brown, but is not as warm as portrayed, no red undertones in sight. I like the true color better, but I really wish Nyx would portray the colors more accurately, I've had this problem with everything I've bought from them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG AMAZING!!!! I wasn't sure if I could use this or not cause when it comes to liquid eyeliner I can't put that stuff on at all but I got this and a brush and tried it!!!! OMG I am in love!!! The black is so black makes my eyes just stand out!!!! Will be purchasing again THANK YOU NYX

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great I bought this in blue and I love the shade! Unfortunately it's really sheer... Like, in an oily way that you can't really build on. I was hoping to do a chunky blue eyeliner/wing with a neutral shadow, but I think I'd have to go over it with a matching blue shadow to actually make it pop at all. Kind of defeats the purpose of blue eyeliner, right? It doesn't seem like it would smudge out properly, either. I can't speak to staying power, (Or to the quality of the black) because I haven't worn it out for a night yet.
