Maybe haunted houses and carving pumpkins, but at NYX Professional Makeup we’re here for the scary makeup looks! And we’re not talking about the pumpkin spice lattes of makeup looks, we want the ghoul with a healthy dose of glam. You already know we went ALL OUT– a major partnership with Universal Monsters, star-studded talent, NYX PMU’s first ever music video, and scarily pro SFX makeup made to transform into iconic halloween makeup looks!

Partnering with Universal Monsters had us howling at the moon in excitement! When dreaming up this year’s easy Halloween makeup theme for Halloween 2023, we thought “Classic, accentuated with trending elements and fresh faces”. And the looks are drop-dead gorgeous.

MAKING THE MUSIC VIDEO
Halloween 2023 is a HUGE moment for NYX PMU, not only did we partner with Universal to create classic inspired makeup looks, but we also wanted to showcase them in a larger-than-life way. We really went all out and shot a full-blown music video on the Universal Studios Hollywood lot and paired with a custom song that will have you rapping “Swipe, slash, beat, repeat!” non-stop!
Since this is NYX PMU first-ever music video, we brought in the big guns. The video was directed by visionary director and producer Nick Harwood. In partnership with the NYX PMU team, we modernized visions of old school spooky scenes and infused a thrilling undercurrent to ensure this Halloween is unforgettable!
